Shown above: New Concrete Containment Contracted by the Mechanical Contractor who built the containment, SSI was required to scaffold, tarp-in and contain the dyke area. Grit-blasting was used to achieve the profile under coating specifications. Air pocket holes, usually found after gritblasting, are patched with a high-density concrete specifically formulated for situation, to give the containment are the smooth non-porous profile needed for a monolithic coating system. Depending on whether elastrometric control joints or a fiberglass core have to be installed, in just minimal amount of time your containment can be primed and coated.
